About ARTWalk

ARTWalk is a permanent urban trail for pedestrians that runs along University Avenue in the Neighborhood of the Arts from the Memorial Art Gallery to the George Eastman House . Along ARTWalk you will find Sculptures, Art Benches, stamped concrete walkway with 12 artist designs, artistic mosaic light poles, and artistic bus shelters (in 2005)

ARTWalk's Mission:
To foster, create and maintain a designated distinctive public walkway connecting arts destinations and cultural centers in the neighborhood, in order to provide an environment that encourages increased exposure to a variety of artistic experiences and build community.

ARTWalk Alive! (September 19th, noon-4 pm)

• raises community awareness of ARTWalk and its mission

• showcases the arts, especially the performing arts

• raises income for other ARTWalk projects offered throughout the year
